Stagecast in an audience engagement and brand activation platform for interactive meetings and events. Stagecast enables community builders, event hosts and brands to bring people together, facilitate interaction and drive measurable brand value on all online and offline channels. The company was exited to vVenues and OneMotion ICM in January 2023.

How do event organisers, community builders and brands use Stagecast?

Stagecast is used in a variety of ways. Most share Stagecast on their existing social-media channels, virtual event & meeting platforms or integrate Stagecast into existing apps or websites to create additional brand value, measure the engagement of audiences and to increase interaction with participants. Others build their event around Stagecast and utilised the service to extend the experience prior, during and after an event.

In the end, Stagecast is used to create richer, branded online experiences and to engage communities both, online and offline.

What was my role at Stagecast?

I have co-founded Stagecast AB during my studies at KTH and served as the CEO of the organisation from 2016-2022. On a day-to-day basis I worked closely with customers as well as the product teams to deliver new features and solutions for customers on time. I have also laid the ground for the organization and have substantially worked with financing of the business, handling investor and shareholder relationships.

Stagecast's mission is to foster human interaction and connection with the means of technology rather than separating and alienating us. We have won several Startup awards for our work at Stagecast and have delivered solutions to large customer, such as Live Nation, Mercedes-Benz, Spotify, Epidemic Sound, Oriflame, Google and many more.

What is the outcome of the project?

Stagecast is a thriving SaaS business with customers across Europe and North America. Hundreds of event organizers and millions or participants have used Stagecast. The organization was operated by a remote team from Germany, Sweden, Italy and the UK. We have won several Startup awards & Accelerator programs through our journey. Stagecast is still active and plays a pivotal role in the OneMotion business group.
