Live Hacks

LiveHacks was a regularly arranged hackathon event where Coders, Designers and Makers come together in Stockholm, Sweden to revolutionise the way we experience live entertainment.

LiveHacks grew fast to become one of Sweden's largest Hackathon communities with close to 1.000 members. We were sponsored by brands like UniversalMusic, Telia Company, ZoundIndustries, Accenture and many more. After a long fight with the market repercussions of COVID-19, we decided to close down LiveHacks in 2021.

How does LiveHacks work?

Participants are divided into teams of five people with matching skills consistent of software developers (coders), designers and electrical engineers (makers).

Each team has a technical, business or market related mentor. The technical mentor usually comes from the LiveHacks team whereas the business or market related mentor comes from a participating corporation.

We hack during the day and we party during the night - all projects are presented at the final presentations and a winning team as well as an individual winner is selected. We end the day with live music, beer and live tests of all projects.

Why are corporates joining Live Hacks events?

LiveHacks is an open innovation platform. It helps corporates to manage the much dreaded „fuzzy frontend of innovation“. At LiveHacks corporates will ...

- Provide a challenge and have a tested prototype ready within only one day
- Understand new markets, technologies and opportunities
- Get in contact with talents
- Show your innovation efforts in social media
- Bring a team and be inspired!
